*Note: I created the most of the tutorials using the Roboblitz and Gears of War editors. Based on the engine, and the version, some properties specified may be in slightly different locations than what is displayed in the screenshots.

If you need to learn how to create a basic map I would reccomend:
For UT99, UT2K3 & UT2K4: the Unreal Wiki.
For UT3: Waylon's Tutorials.

Camera - Camera Shake

CameraShake is used to 'shake' the viewcamera of the player..

• Timed will shake the view of x amount of time.

• Continuous will provide a continuous shake.

• Stop will stop the shake regardless of if it's timed or continuous.

• The Target is the entity viewing the shake and will most usually be the player.

• The epicenter can be a location removed from the player where the shake is at it's most intense. Then, as the 'target' moves away from the epicenter, the shake will reduce in intensity.

• All the sub-settings are fairly self explanatory and as one can see, they allow many apsects of the shake to be adjusted - intensity, timing, rotation, and more.
